Mojo bags (also known as Gris Gris bags) are ‘spell in a bag’ charm which you either carry around with you (hidden) or place somewhere in your home (out of sight) so that it ‘works it’s magic’.

Used in various cultures such as hoodoo, voodoo, witchcraft and southern conjure, these mini red parcels contain herbs, oils, resins, sometimes bones, gems and other curios, all of which are contained in a bag or pouch. Each of our mojo bags come with a small silver toned charm and are also charged with intent, blessed and placed on our shrine with offerings to the chosen Loa and/or other spirits. A lot of time and effort goes into our spell work for our clients.

Your bag should not be seen or touched by anyone else apart from the person making it for you and yourself. If anyone else touches it or sees it once it has been made and blessed then the bag can just ‘stop working’. Feeding is just like any other feeding, you are giving nourishment to sustain the life of the mojo bag. You only need to feed your mojo bag once a week and can be fed by powder or oil (or a mixture of the two) and your own energy.  Add the oil/powder to the outside of the bag (do not open the bag) and then hold it in both hands and concentrate hard on your intent. You will know when it is time to stop because the bag will feel charged or ‘full’ in your hands. Usually around 3-5 minutes. Either use the oil/powder that corresponds with your mojo bag (for example use a ‘come to me’ oil on a ‘come to me’ mojo bag) or use our all purpose mojo bag feeding oil which can be found HERE.
